We are pleased to be hosting the Young EFILA network at our London offices tomorrow, Friday 10 November 2023. There will be a networking breakfast from 9am followed by a panel session at 9.30-10.30am entitled “What is the status and future of the enforcement of intra-EU awards in the UK and the US?” The speakers include Joel Halliday (senior associate at HSF), Ceyda Knoebel, Tasmin Parzen, Sonja Sreckovic and Stephanie Collins – more information can be found here.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of this complex issue, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue. If you have not already registered and are interested in attending the event, please sign up here: Young EFILA Panel Event.
About EFILA and Young EFILA
EFILA is a Brussels-based organisation that aims to promote knowledge of all aspects of EU and international investment law, including arbitration. EFILA endeavours to facilitate a meaningful exchange of views on relevant and timely issues concerning the development of the European internal market, and to foster objective debate about the current system of investment arbitration. Young EFILA was launched in June 2022. Its principal aim is to promote the sharing of knowledge amongst the younger members of the arbitration community and provide opportunities for its members to exchange views on topical issues.
EFILA’s Executive Board includes Andrew Cannon, Deputy Head of Global Arbitration and Co-Head of Public International Law at Herbert Smith Freehills.
For more information, please contact Andrew Cannon, Joel Halliday, or your usual HSF contact.
